Relations among India and Canada?

Canada and India shares a blooming relationship dependent on the duty to popularity based qualities, the right to speak freely, thriving exchange, social ties, and individuals to individuals communications. Amid the visit in April 2015 by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Canada, both the nations lifted the respective relationship to vital dimension. 

The respective exchange between the 2 nations has gone up from 4.2 billion Canadian dollars in 2010 to 6.4 billion Canadian dollars in 2014. Indian fares to Canada are readymade pieces of clothing, materials, pearls, gems and valuable stones, natural synthetic substances, light building merchandise, pharmaceutical items, press and steel articles, and so forth. While Canada trades wood mash, asbestos, beats, newsprint, potash, press scrap, copper, minerals and mechanical synthetics, and so on. 

Indian FDI in Canada was around 3.973 billion Canadian $ in 2014. Canadian FDI in India was about 1.128 billion Canadian $ in 2014. 

In April 2015, an understanding was marked between Indian Department of Atomic Energy and Cameco of Canada to supply Uranium to India for long haul premise.
